In response to an urgent call from the The Steam Rotating Plant Engineer at a Scottish power station Comocri acted in what can only be described as "With All Haste" to help with his problem.
His predicament was that coming off a planned outage and during the ramping up of his 660mw turbo generator water was detected in his lubrication system to the extent of some several thousand ppm, this was in spite of him having the foresight to foresee this problem and installing temporary de-watering equipment.
Even though Comocri having had no previous dealings with this station and being geographically some 350 miles distant had personnel on site within six hours and our trials unit (OTS 70) some few hours later. The unit was commissioned and needless to say proved up to the task, so much so that we are in the process of designing a unit for this plants bespoke needs.
