These units which are capable of delivering outlet oil quality with water content of 5 ppm and in some cases lower have a lot of advantages for the power station engineer. For the turbine engineer the ease of maintenance and lack of high value consumables is an absolute positive when viewed against other methods of water removal, i.e. centrifuges and vacuum distillation units. The units are available in sizes to fit all operations from the largest 660mw turbine system down to small auxiliary and satellite systems.
For the transformer engineer they represent the first genuine cost effective treatment and can be fitted with ease in to any system.
